Description
Originally, this fair, which was very popular with restaurateurs, enabled professionals to discover last year's vintage exclusively. Now it's the general public who have made the event their own, and every year tourists and locals alike gather in Guebwiller on Ascension Thursday for an exceptional day out.
Some twenty winegrowers from the Guebwiller winegrowing sub-region will be offering free tastings of almost 200 wines. The taste buds' market will feature a wide range of regional products: special breads, sausages, foie gras, game terrines, cheeses, honey, jams, a food truck selling filled potato waffles, craft beers, an Italian-style ice-cream cart, bubble waffles, wines from other regions (Gigondas, Beaujolais village, Tavel Lirac wines) and more... Treat yourself!
All day long, a host of entertainers take to the stage and beyond: Gugg'Lion (Gugga version of pop rock), Marikala et Jo (bucolic songs "Sur la route de nos rêves"), Dr Boost (energetic rock covers).
At 5:30 p.m., FlorFM and the City of Guebwiller offer you an exceptional showcase with Emma from Star Academy 2024. In early 2026, the singer took part in season 15 of TF1's Danse avec les stars.
Bergerac (southern Dordogne), renowned for its expressive wines (reds, dry whites, mellows, sweet wines and rosés), will be in the spotlight this year! With the presence of two wineries: Château de Tiregand and Domaine du Grand Mayne. Visitors to the Fair will be able to visit the Quai Cyrano Tourist Office and discover the Miroir des Etoiles homemade jams, a much-appreciated Perigord speciality.
Take part in the great tombola and find out immediately if you're the lucky winner of one of the superb prizes: a stay for 2 people with accommodation offered by the Quai Cyrano Tourist Office and its partners, bottles of wine, tickets for museums, local products etc. Tombola tickets (€1 each) on sale at the Tourist Office stand.
