Our advice!

  • Is Mulhouse bike certified?

Mulhouse has been labeled a “Bicycle Territory” (Territoire vélo). You can find all the information on this page: Label Territoire vélo.

  • How can I go hiking without a car?

Most of our hiking tours in the agglomeration are accessible by city bus or even by train (Zillisheim for example). And if you want to go further, you can access the Vosges via the Thur valley (after Thann) by TER (Mulhouse-Kruth train line). In the summer, you also have the possibility to use the navette des crêtes departing from Bollwiller station (a TER train will take you there from Mulhouse).

  • Where to rent a bike?

In Mulhouse, you have the possibility of renting a self-service bike thanks to the Vélocité terminals to get from one point to another. 40 stations are at your disposal spread throughout the city and the bikes are accessible 24/7 at a modest price.

You can also rent a bike from Médiacycle for a longer period.

  • Can I get around easily by public transport?

With the Solea transportation network, you can easily get around the city. Trams will take you to Mulhouse’s main museums, and you can take a bus to the Zoological and Botanical Garden. To get around out of the city, you can easily take a TER train to Strasbourg, Colmar, Thann or even Switzerland.
