La Grange à Bécanes – Rhine motorcycle museum

La Grange à Bécanes is a museum dedicated to the collection of one man: Raymond Lemoine who has collected several dozen vehicles. His numerous motorcycles are mainly from the Ravat brand that aficionados will recognize.

Installed in a rehabilitated 750 m2 barn since 2013 and featuring an original scenography, this museum dedicated to motorcycles presents 90 vintage vehicles from the Lemoine Collection, including a unique collection of Ravat motorcycles and other French and foreign brands. It allows visitors to live a unique experience rich in sensations, by “living” the history of the motorcycle.

The visit is articulated in 4 stages. The Corridor presents the adventure of vintage motorcycles with period music, in the form of a parade. The Tous Motards! chicane introduces the pleasure of riding and driving a vintage motorcycle, as well as a documentary film on the history of the motorcycle and its representations in the main artistic fields. The Dans le Détail exhibition is then devoted to spare parts. The last stage of the visit is reserved for the backstage of the museum, its storeroom and workshop, where the Friends of the Motorcycle restore the motorcycles.
