Guided tour with Marion Vincent, head of collections at the Musée historique de Mulhouse. Through two paintings from the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Fuite d'un prisonnier gaulois by Évariste-Vital Luminais and Habitation lacustre by Emmanuel Benner, this tour explores the influence of excavations and archaeological knowledge on artists, as well as how they sometimes reinvented, idealized or even misinterpreted the earliest periods of human history.
