Description
To mark the 20th anniversary of the tramway, a number of free tours of the Soléa facilities will be offered during the summer of 2026.
These tours will give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the network, from the bus and tram maintenance workshops to the Central Control Centre, where traffic on the lines is managed in real time. It is also an opportunity to look back at the birth of the Mulhouse tramway and the impact it has had on transport and the local landscape over the past 20 years.
Mulhouse’s public transport system has been part of the industrial revolution in Mulhouse and its region for 130 years: from horse-drawn carriages to omnibuses and trams. Today, trams, tram-trains, buses and coaches operate across the 39 municipalities of Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération, covering more than 6 million kilometres a year and carrying nearly 110,000 passengers every day.
