Rent your bike with Vélo Cité for occasional use. Buy a ticket (€1) valid for 24 hours from the date the ticket is activated. These tickets are only available at terminals equipped with a credit card reader.
The first 30 minutes of each journey are always free. From 30 minutes to 5 hours, a charge of €0.50 per 30-minute period will apply. After 5 hours, the charge is €5 (24 hours maximum).
How do I use the bikes?
- Select the 1-day package
- Accept the terms of use
- Choose a 6-digit code (personal and confidential), which can be reused during the validity of the 1-day ticket.
- Pay for the ticket with your bank card.
- The bike ticket is issued with a validity date.
- To pick up the bike, select ‘Pick up a bike immediately’, then the number of the docking point where the bike is stored. You then have 1 minute to press the button on the docking point (a buzzer sounds to confirm that the bike is available).
Returning a bike
- Lock the bike to a docking point: the green light on the docking point will come on and the buzzer will beep, confirming that the bike has been correctly docked. If the light does not come on, this means that it has not worked.
- You can pick up a certificate of safe return of the bike at the reception kiosk (within 15 minutes).
- If there is no longer a bike stand available, you can obtain a 15-minute time credit by entering the code associated with your VéloCité 1-day ticket on the terminal screen.
Please note! A €150 deposit will be charged for any bike not returned within 24 hours. Self-service bikes are shared bikes for short journeys. It is not possible to keep the bike for more than 24 hours.
