Scavenger Hunt at Oelenberg Abbey

Founded in 1046, Oelenberg Abbey is opening its doors to the public for a special event, inviting you to discover nearly 1,000 years of history. Through an immersive scavenger hunt, take your family on a mystery-filled adventure in the heart of the monastery. In “The Novices’ Quest,” participants of all ages—8 and up—will solve a series of puzzles while exploring areas not usually open to the public, such as the cloister, the library, the chapel, and the scriptorium. Observation, logic, and teamwork will be your best allies as you unravel the abbey’s secrets and discover the world of the Trappist monks. Will you be able to complete all the challenges?
