As part of the Météo festival, La Kunsthalle invites you to discover two unique musical performances that push the boundaries of improvisation and experimental sound.
Lebanese artist Mazen Kerbaj presents *Lungless*, a work created for an astonishing instrument composed of seven prepared trumpets, connected to balloons and set in motion by an air compressor. This sound installation transforms the emotions stirred by contemporary crises into a powerful and immersive musical experience, where sound becomes a language in the face of the unspeakable.
The event continues with a solo concert by American double bassist Brandon Lopez. A leading figure in New York’s improvisational scene, he delivers a performance of rare intensity, in which every gesture, every vibration, and every silence reveal the full expressive richness of his instrument. A captivating experience for fans of adventurous music as well as for those curious to explore new horizons.
