Description
To celebrate the start of the 14th stage of the Tour de France in Mulhouse, the whole city is getting into the cycling spirit! Starting in the morning, enjoy festive, culinary, and athletic activities in various neighborhoods, from the Market to the Plaine de l’Ill, including the Terrasses du Musée, Square Baumann, Place Franklin, and Place de la Réunion.
Tour Brunch, Tour Village, promotional caravan, cycling activities, virtual reality, BMX, pump track, sports-themed open-air café, shopping and drinks, and evening music: the day promises a lively, friendly, and energetic atmosphere.
The Tour Village will open at 10 a.m. on the Plaine de l’Ill. The race will start at 1:10 p.m., with other activities planned along the route.
Program:
- From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marché du Canal Couvert: Tour brunch. This convivial event will feature activities organized by the merchants’ associations of the Marché and Franklin
- From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Terrasses du Musée: entertainment and a small refreshment stand
- From 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on the Plaine de l'Ill: Tour village, entertainment, podium bus, and departure of the promotional caravan
- From 10am to 6pm at Baumann Square: various activities such as fun bikes, virtual reality cycling, BMX obstacles and a BMX show
- From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Place Franklin: sports-themed open-air café with the Mulhouse Food Festival, musical entertainment, and a pump track
- From 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Place de la Réunion: a day of fun and sports activities, an “apéro-shopping” event hosted by Vitrines de Mulhouse, and musical entertainment in the evening.
