An unmissable annual event for schoolchildren and the general public to explore science! La Nef des sciences, the coordinator of the Science Festival in the Haut-Rhin department, is organizing a Science Village in partnership with the University of Haute-Alsace. Workshops and exhibitors: - Electronics and Computer Science Workshop for Youth (EEIJ Association) - From Earth to the Moon: From the Apollo Pioneers to the Dreams of Artemis (Wittelsheim Astronomy Club) - The Path to the Stars (SAHR 68 and Osenbach Observatory) - The Secret of the “Aged Pot” (Les petits débrouillards) - The Little Creatures of the Moulin Vivarium - A Journey to the Heart of Aromas (INRAe) - The Flavor of Our Materials (IS2M – CNRS – UHA) - Tasty Math: Sharing, Recipes, and Seating Arrangements! (Math Department – IRIMAS – UHA) - Get a Taste of Mobile and Collaborative Robotics (IRIMAS-ENSISA-MIAM Team) - “Machine Gourmande” and an Introduction to Scientific Careers (IESF Alsace and KidsLab) - Building a model of an eco-neighborhood with wooden planks (Animalsace) - High Schools Celebrate… Science (Schweitzer High School and Lavoisier High School in Mulhouse) - The Flavors of Success (Les Cordées de l’UHA) - Spotlight on Materials with Mat-light 4.0 (UHA) - Discovering Archaeology (INRAP) – Thursday, October 8 - Chemistry in All Its Forms (ENSCMu and LIMA, UNISTRA-UHA-CNRS) – Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10 - When Chemistry and Cooking Go Green (Green Chemistry Academy) – Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9 Saturday, October 10: - The Lost Constellations (Alexandra Hergott, science communicator) - The Flavor Lab: Cultivate Your Palate! (Samuel Jean-Toussaint and Iris Bohly, science communicators) On the upper floors of La Fonderie: - Exhibition at the Kunsthalle: “Persistances” – special guided tour for school groups from the Mulhouse Science Village on October 8 and 9, 2026, and in connection with the exhibition: “On the Trail of Gold…,” a self-guided activity on the ground floor of the Village des Sciences. WORKSHOP at the Fonderie’s Learning Center (1st floor): - Color Recipes! Science outreach connecting the library’s heritage collections with a diverse (young) audience – October 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and October 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Open to all ages 9 and up—Reservations required for groups by phone or email Organized by La Nef des sciences in partnership with the University of Haute-Alsace (UHA) Free admission
