Julia Sinoimeri is one of today’s most exciting accordionists and, more broadly, a musician who inspires us with her eclecticism, the diversity of her artistic vision, her willingness to take risks, and her musicality. Equally at ease with improvisation and interpretation, she plays Bach, moves away from him, returns via Rameau, and then breaks free, once again… much like this accordion recital, in which, as a soloist, she explores the incredible acoustics of the Abbey Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Ottmarsheim, sketching the contours of an extraordinary soundscape.
