During this 1h30 initiation, in a small group of 3 people, you will discover the potter's wheel and its universe. Each person is provided with an individual potter's wheel and equipment, enabling them to discover the world of pottery on their own. This workshop is open to anyone aged 12 and over wishing to discover potter's wheel.
After a presentation of the equipment and the position to adopt, you explore your own sensations and enter into contact with the clay, with the advice and guidance of Giom, potter-ceramist. It's all about becoming aware of your own sensations, but also of the impact your body has on the way you come into contact with the clay. After seeing dozens of hypnotizing videos on social networks, do you dream of trying your hand at clay throwing? If so, now's the time to give it a try, in a small group, with a caring guide who will take the time to explain the various stages involved in successfully throwing a ceramic piece.
At the end of the workshop, each person can choose to keep one of the pieces made during the workshop, which will then be fired and glazed by Giom. These can then be collected from the workshop after a month or so.
