Heritage Days: Museum of Printed Fabrics

  • Exhibition
Musée de l'Impression sur Etoffes, 14 rue Jean-Jacques Henner, 68100 Mulhouse

Description

During European Heritage Days, discover the two temporary exhibitions at the Museum of Printed Fabrics on a guided tour. The exhibition *Quel chantier – phase 3* looks back on the event that marked the museum in 2018 and highlights the work accomplished since then, while *Regards sur Texunion* pays tribute to the history of the Alsatian textile industry through the photographs of Patrick Baeumlin (Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.). Then continue your exploration by participating in an introductory workshop on block printing. After a demonstration, create your own “MISE en…” slogan in support of the museum and print it on a drawstring bag, along with patterns inspired by the collections. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation made by your own hands (Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Free
