Description
These books, which explore our relationship with energy, its production sites, and what they reveal about our societies, will be presented by their authors or editors, followed by a discussion with the audience: *D’ici Fessenheim* by Elise Alloin, an artist’s perspective on the Fessenheim power plant and its dynamics (2:15 p.m.), *Solange Fernex, une vie d’insoumission* by Elisabeth Schulthess, inviting readers to (re)discover Solange Fernex’s life marked by a deep commitment to environmental causes (3:30 p.m.), *Power Up* by Géraldine Gourbe and Fanny Lopez, inspired by the exhibition of the same name, in which art and the history of technology engage in a dialogue to explore possible developments in energy (4:45 p.m.).
A film by Basim Magdy, shot partly in Saint-Nazaire as part of the ‘Power up’ exhibition, *The Birds Choose the Cards* presents a narrative centred on speculations about history, identity and place (screenings at 3 pm, 4.15 pm and 5.30 pm).
