Guided tour: We've got fangs!

  • Guided tour
Parc zoologique et botanique, 11 avenue de la 1ère Division Blindée, 68100 Mulhouse
An ideal experience for anyone curious about nature... and anatomy!

At Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park, discovery sometimes starts where you least expect it: in the jaw. Incisors, canines, molars... if we know our own teeth well, those of animals also tell fascinating stories.

At the educational chalet, you'll have access to a collection of skulls from different species. By observing them closely, you'll be able to analyze the shape, size and position of the teeth, understand their function and decipher their role in the diet. Fearsome carnivore, peaceful herbivore or opportunistic omnivore? It's up to you to find out.

This playful, scientific exploration will enable you to deduce the diet of each animal and, why not, identify the species to which the skull observed belonged. An original way to learn how to read the clues left by living things.

To take part in this visit, you'll need a Park entrance ticket.

Duration: 1h30 - From age 7 - Book online or directly at the park entrance.
