To celebrate EAZA Days, the Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park invites you to explore the fascinating world of wetlands. Although often overlooked, these natural habitats are home to exceptional biodiversity and play an essential role in the balance of our environment. Over the course of several days, visitors of all ages can participate in activities, meet nature experts, discover iconic species, and gain a better understanding of the challenges involved in preserving these fragile ecosystems. A fun and enriching immersion in the heart of nature. Daily Program • Pick up a themed activity booklet at the entrance to explore the park in a new way and complete various challenges throughout your visit. • Photography exhibition and dragonfly discovery with Buhl Environnement. • Exhibition dedicated to the Île du Rhinau Nature Reserve and an encounter with herons led by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO). • Storytelling walks for all ages with Hélène Lamoine. • Giant board game “In the Shoes of a Marsh Turtle” to learn about the life of the European pond turtle. • A booth dedicated to flamingos to learn more about these fascinating birds and their surprising behaviors. Saturday • “The Funny Malayan Tapir” activity with Professor Pozzolino from Eurêka Animation. • Learn about the green toad with the Bufo association. • Creative workshops offered by the City of Mulhouse’s Educational Visual Arts Workshops. Monday • “Funny Malayan Tapir” activity with Professor Pozzolino from Eurêka Animation. • Learn about the Atlantic salmon with the Petite Camargue Alsacienne and a presentation on reintroduction efforts in Alsace. • Creative workshops open to all with Lili Térana and Léa Schrot.
