Description
At the Mulhouse Historical Museum, participants are invited to explore the collections as a ground for discovery and inspiration. Ancient objects, archaeological fragments, sculptures and stones, steeped in history, become points of departure for the eye.
Guided by artist Emmanuel Henninger, each participant chooses a detail, a shape, a trace - a fragment of a Gallo-Roman vase, a sculpted figure, a shard of earthenware or an emblematic stone such as the Klapperstein - to make it their own through drawing. On pink Vosges sandstone, the material dialogues with history. The gesture extends the object, capturing an imprint, a memory.
A workshop where drawing becomes a sensitive link between past and present, between heritage and creation.
Ages 7 and up. Reservations required by e-mail or telephone.
