Getting around by bus and tram

In Mulhouse, by tramway, we outrun the cars! These words, borrowed from the Joe Dassin song, especially mark the importance given to public transportation in the Mulhouse agglomeration: 22 bus lines, 3 streetcar lines and 1 tram-train line serve the 33 communes of the agglomeration.

All streetcar stations are equipped with automatic ticket machines that accept bank cards and coins. You can also buy tickets at the Soléa ticket office at Porte Jeune, via the Soléa or m2A mobilités apps, or by text message. You can also pay for your tickets by credit card directly on the trams (up to 5 tickets).

Mulhouse and its region were awarded the “Accueil vélo” label in 2026 and offer numerous facilities, services and equipment dedicated to bicycle tourists: more than 300 km of bicycle paths, an inflation station, self-service bicycle rental (Vélocité), bicycle rental companies, repair shops and spare parts dealers, secure parking facilities throughout the city, restaurants and adapted accommodation…

Parking in Mulhouse

Mulhouse offers a wide range of parking options, including surface, outdoor and underground parking.

Here are several parking options with attractive prices:

P+Tram” option: park in one of the two park-and-ride facilities (University or Kinépolis) and then take the tram to the city centre. You will only pay 2 € for the day (including the return tram journey) for all the occupants of the vehicle (maximum 7).

The underground car parks Centre, Porte Jeune, Réunion, Maréchaux and Porte Haute (all in the city centre) as well as La Filature offer an unbeatable rate of 3 € for 4 hours of parking during the day.

If you prefer to park on the street, various mobile apps allow you to pay remotely. Payment is then made as accurately as possible because you can start, extend and stop your parking session from your mobile phone.
