Stéphanie invites you to discover sashiko, a Japanese embroidery technique as simple in appearance as it is fascinating to practice, during an introductory workshop open to all.
Originally, this technique was used to reinforce and repair worn clothing. Today, it's reinvented as a decorative art form, with regular stitches and graphic motifs that elegantly dress up fabric. Guided step by step by Stéphanie, you'll learn the essential gestures and basics to create your first patterns... and leave with the desire to continue at home.
Ages 12 and up. Registration required by 5.30pm on the Sunday before the workshop.
