Do you know about Walpurgisnacht, the legendary night of the witches? During this strange night, it is said that "the pagan deities of spring spread out into nature to put an end to winter".
As the museum's alleys light up, immerse yourself in these ancestral rites linked to nature and discover the mysterious legends associated with them. To ward off bad luck, guided tours, recipes, tales about black cats and other superstitions are on the programme!

5pm: "Beliefs and superstitions, toxicity and uses in traditional pharmacopoeias" walk with Eléa Heberlé, botanist
6.00 pm; 7.00 pm: guided tours on beliefs and witchcraft in Alsace
From 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm : witches' cooking and love filters
6.00 pm to 9.00 pm : small beasts of the night, naturalist observations
6.00 pm, 7.00 pm, 8.00 pm : Witch school
6.30 pm: "Witches and popular beliefs, rites and symbols of protection" lecture by Gérard Léser, historian and folklorist
6.30 pm; 7.30 pm: "De l'art de condamner une vieille dame au bûcher", reading of a witchcraft trial from 1615
