Behind the more than 600 vehicles preserved by the museum, a unique set of skills makes it possible to preserve and restore these true testaments to automotive history to working condition. During this self-guided tour, observe the meticulous work of the restorers and discover the challenges involved in maintaining vehicles from all eras—balancing a commitment to authenticity with restoration techniques. A fascinating behind-the-scenes experience at the heart of the museum, perfect for enthusiasts and the curious alike. Self-guided tours of the restoration workshop are free and do not require a reservation. There is an admission fee for the exhibitions—both permanent and temporary.
