Wesserling Park

The Parc de Wesserling – Ecomusée textile is located in a green setting in the Vosges mountains. Former textile factory, this museum will tell you the history of textile in the valley of Saint-Amarin. In addition to the museum, don’t hesitate to discover its extraordinary gardens thanks to the superb “Festival des Jardins Métissés” (Festival of Mixed Gardens) in the summer.

The Museum

30 km from Mulhouse, at the foot of the Vosges Mountains, the Parc de Wesserling retraces the extraordinary industrial adventure of a former royal textile factory. Innovative, heritage and environmentally friendly, it surprises with its sumptuous gardens classified as “Remarkable Gardens” and its collection, unique in France, of buildings related to the industry.

The Textile Ecomuseum comes alive by bringing to life the factory trades through dramatized tours but also numerous high points in the gardens. It combines the site’s history with contemporary art by hosting annual exhibitions of creators in the site’s former Grande Chaufferie.

The International Festival of Mixed Gardens (Festival des Jardins Métissés) from May to September and Christmas in the Garden in December are the park’s annual must-see events.
