One of the first things you smell when you arrive at the Mulhouse Christmas Market are the effluents of mulled wine. With scented spices like cinnamon or star anise (among others), it’s impossible to resist!
Many chalets offer some: red wine chaud or white wine chaud, to choose according to your affinities. But for those who don’t drink alcohol or for the younger ones, you can also find hot apple juice or hot orange juice enhanced with spices.
Between the end of November and the end of December, the Christmas Market is the meeting point of the locals to get together with family, friends or colleagues to share this little friendly moment while warming up your fingers and body, as it is often cold in this season. A moment we definitely don’t want to miss!
