Colmar

Colmar is the postcard city of Alsace. It has many monuments and typical districts to discover.

Colmar is located in the center of Alsace, it is a typical city, the one you imagine when you talk about the region, it is also the city of Auguste Bartholdi who designed the Statue of Liberty.

You will be able to stroll through districts such as La Petite Venise, popular for its romantic canals and half-timbered houses and admire buildings in the city center such as the Maison des Têtes, the Maison Pfister, the Maison des chevaliers, etc. It’s a great place to stroll in all seasons.

You can also visit the Unterlinden Museum to see the famous Issenheim Altarpiece and many other works of art.

Access

Colmar is a 40-minute drive from Mulhouse.

You can also get there by train in 20 minutes. The Colmar train station is about a 10-minute walk from the city center.
