Closed in 2020, the Fessenheim power plant remains a "place of memory" for its former employees and local residents. Since 2019, the museum has been collecting testimonies, objects and archives to preserve this collective history.
In addition to its industrial heritage, the power plant has had a profound impact on Alsace: it has transformed local life, boosted the economy and given rise to a human memory that is still alive today. With its cross-border heritage, regional roots and social impact, it remains a powerful symbol of the region's contemporary history.
Free exhibition, included in the museum admission price
