The Orchestre d'Harmonie de Riedisheim invites you to share a musical moment full of emotion at a concert featuring a few pearls from its repertoire. With 140 years of history behind it, this dynamic group, directed by Benoît Poly, continues to keep the wind band tradition alive, while constantly striving to surprise its audiences.
The first part of the concert will take on a resolutely lyrical tone, thanks to a close collaboration with singing teacher Aude Rothenburger. You'll hear Mascagni's Ave Maria, performed by the soloist, before discovering Jakob de Haan's Missa Brevis, carried by the choir of students from his singing class. For the occasion, several adult singing schools - from Ensisheim, Guebwiller, Cernay and Riedisheim - will unite their voices.
The program continues with more evocative and descriptive works, such as Alpina Fanfare and the fourth movement from Mont Saint-Michel, inviting you to let your eyes and imagination travel.
The concert will also feature an original creation: a percussion solo for marimba and keyboards taken from a work by Frédéric Unterfinger, specially written for the orchestra and its conductor Benoît Poly, himself a professional percussionist.
Finally, the evening comes to a close in the spellbinding atmosphere of Le Fantôme de l'Opéra. A finale full of mystery to prolong the magic of these melodies well beyond the concert.
