Plate printing workshop

Musée de l'Impression sur Etoffes, 14 rue Jean-Jacques Henner, 68100 Mulhouse
Experience a unique introduction to the traditional technique of woodblock printing. The Musée de l'Impression sur Etoffes gives you the opportunity to manipulate genuine engraved woodblocks from the period to print a ready-made textile piece or a length of fabric that you can then sew (household linen, clothing, furniture upholstery)*. Your project is developed with the help of a textile designer who accompanies you in your reflection and technical training. Estelle Specklin, aka Poupet-Pounket, stylist and textile designer, is developing her brand based on upcycling and the use of printed fabrics, while also creating her own patterns. She'll share her original, offbeat ideas with you, as well as her good humor.
Reservations essential, group limited to 6 people, subject to 3 participants.
