This year's edition of the Dornach district's literary event, "Le Printemps du livre du Lerchenberg", returns once again to put books and literature in the spotlight;
You'll be able to quench your thirst for books of all kinds with a large book exchange. Fine books, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, comics and alsatics will also be in the bins.
Local authors will also be on hand to present their works and offer book signings: Martine Hiebel, Fanny Delque, Hélène Poizat, Pierre Freyburger, Thomas Karche, Hélène Bourdel, Jackson Mackay, le Tandem Littéraire, Eric Gabriel and Claire Gorius.
The Ateliers de Reliure Marchal and Sarel will also be on hand throughout the weekend to demonstrate bookbinding and hot gilding on leather, as well as exhibiting various creations and selling notebooks/agendas and various stationery items made in their workshops.
Discover also the association Donneurs de Voix with the Mulhouse Sound Library, who will have a stand at the festival. Their aim is to enable those who are unable to do so to immerse themselves in books, magazines and newspapers.
The Dornach Library will also be present on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm, offering bookmark-making and 2 story sessions for 4-8 year-olds at 2.30 and 3.30 pm.
Throughout the weekend, enjoy a variety of book-related activities:
- Saturday at 2.30pm: Junior writing workshop with Marie Hillenweck
- Saturday at 4pm: Round table and book signing with the authors
- Sunday at 10am: Bookbinding workshop with Ateliers de Reliure Marchal et Sarel
- Sunday at 2pm: Grande dictée du Lerch prepared and corrected by Martine Hiebel
A refreshment stall with snacks will also be available to quench your thirst and enjoy a bite to eat in a convivial area with live music.
