The Festival de l'Avenir returns to Kingersheim for three days of exchanges, discoveries and celebrations around low-tech solutions and sustainable alternatives. It's a joyful, committed gathering where we can work together to imagine a future that's simpler, more sober... and resolutely exciting.
On Friday evening, music and conviviality take center stage at Les Sheds with live concerts: the gypsy jazz of the Pouti Reinhardt Quartet will open the evening, followed by the dance energy of Banana Camp for a festive swing ball. A bar, light refreshments and an exhibition on low-tech will round off this lively evening.
On Saturday afternoon and into the evening, the site is transformed into a place for experimentation and sharing. On the program: solar cookers, bicycles of all kinds, repair workshops, demonstrations of simple, sustainable techniques, children's activities, cooperative games and discussions on low-tech know-how. In the evening, an inspiring projection will provide food for thought.
On Sunday, head to the Les Sheds educational garden for an open-air day focused on living and doing-it-yourself. Workshops on composting, permaculture, tips for self-sufficient watering, useful crafts, discoveries about animals in the garden... All in a relaxed, family atmosphere, punctuated by an aperitif-concert to bring the festival to a musical close.
