"The compass of the human condition knows no bearings. Its compass rose designates the strange cardinals of sorrow, joy, dismay and hope. It makes my inspirations its weathervane. Each new day shapes a grain of emery, with the years weaving the backdrop. The repeated passages of this abrasive painfully grate my carefree spirit and sharpen my sensitivity to injustice, barbarism and thoughts clogged with... emery."
