Every autumn, Cinoch' transforms La Passerelle in Rixheim into an exciting children's film festival. Here, cinema and literature come together to build bridges between words and images, between the written word and the screen. The choice of this theme underlines the metamorphoses possible when childhood stories and film adaptations enter into dialogue.
For the duration of the festival, animated sessions are organized to deepen the experience: after the screening, young and old alike can take part in workshops, games, crafts and other surprises. And for the very young, a "Ma première séance de cinéma" (My First Film Screening) session offers a gentle welcome, programming adapted to young audiences, and a reassuring atmosphere, so that this first immersion in the world of film is marked by curiosity and pleasure.
The program is enriched by special events such as a ciné-spectacle combining animated films and a magic lantern, "suédage" workshops (recreating film scenes using simple means), "cinémaginaires" poster creations, and fun times such as Ciné-Gaming, linked to the themes of the films shown. Throughout the festival, the "Yakari and the Vultures" exhibition, the work of an illustrator and a veterinarian, invites us to reflect on our relationship with living things.
Cinoch' doesn't just screen films: it creates a space for exchange, discovery and collective creation, where each screening becomes the starting point for a cinematic adventure accessible to all.
