Mulhouse-Habsheim Aerodrome
Situated in the municipalities of Habsheim and Rixheim, the aerodrome covers an area of approximately 128 hectares, between the Hardt Forest to the east and the A35 motorway to the west.
Its location, opposite a motorway junction, provides excellent access to the main towns in the cross-border region:
Basel, Fribourg, Belfort, Colmar and Mulhouse, all of which are less than 30 minutes away.
The aerodrome is primarily dedicated to leisure and tourism activities, organised by several flying clubs and private users. With around 500 pilots, some 100 aircraft and over 50,000 movements per year, Mulhouse-Habsheim Aerodrome is a leading airfield.
Notable organisations based there include:
- Haut-Rhin Flying Club
- Trois Frontières Flying Club
- Haute-Alsace Microlight Centre
- Sud Alsace Flying Club
- Air Alsace
- Aviatik
- Mulhouse Air Service maintenance company
A bonus: there is a restaurant on the ground floor of the main building – L’Horizon Gourmand – which welcomes users and visitors to the site.
