Les Dominicains de Haute Alsace

In Guebwiller, the Dominicans is a former convent, now recognized as essential for its immersive digital installations and concerts with very advanced sound settings. In the Nave, with its exceptional natural acoustics, in the gothic cloister, in the garden with its contemporary landscape installations and in the geodesic dome where 360° experiences are available, nothing is expected. Artists from around the world come here for residencies. They work with the technicians of the Audiovisual Center to present unique performances. Labelled as a Cultural Centre of Encounter by the Ministry of Culture, the place is one of those rare remarkable heritages (14th century) associated with innovative artistic projects recognized at the international level.
