The creation of this new museum is a continuation of the temporary exhibition, Forgotten Trenches, which was held between 2015 and 2016 at the very location of the Memorial. Through the exhibition rooms, you will discover the historical facts related to the First World War mainly in South Alsace. This place testifies to the daily life of the French civilians and soldiers who occupied this part of Alsace during the entire conflict.
