ANOUCK Quartet
ANOUCK is an all-female vocal quartet whose voices and percussion content ancient tales from the Mediterranean basin (France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey). From love laments to contemplative poems, revolutionary songs and women's lyrics, ANOUCK takes these traditional tales and adds their own inventive colours. Polyphony is given pride of place through bold harmonies and telluric rhythms.
