Illzach is proud of its 4 millennia of historic heritage.
One of the most interesting villages in the area around Mulhouse, Illzach has maintained its own unique cultural identity and celebrates this identity through various cultural, economic and social events, many of which take place at "Espace 110," the town´s cultural centre.

Conveniently located with easy road and rail access to major towns, Illzach has a great deal to offer its inhabitants: a lively community spirit, shops and amenities, industries and a beautiful natural setting with parks, gardens, orchards and meadows.

2004 saw the completion of a major renovation project in the town centre, including a futuristic-style recreation centre. This centre is the venue for a number of cultural and economic events and has given the town a dynamic, modern look. The brand-new town hall is home to several markets as well as many events which enhances local life.
